Escolhares is an NGO that aims to accompany children in Rio de Janeiro throughout the ophthalmological process; from screening to the delivery of glasses. Seeing is knowing.

Our History
The association was founded in 2015 by two medical students who noticed that there were many obstacles to screening children's eyesight. They then decided to ensure the ophthalmological monitoring of children by organizing each step, from screening to the delivery of glasses. Since then, a team has been working on site all year round and every summer, a group of students helps out.
