Stephen Jacobson

Stephen Jacobson is an experienced Code Enforcement Officer with a strong background in public administration. Currently serving as a Code Enforcement Officer II for the City of Escondido since June 2016, Jacobson previously held the position of Field Quality Control Representative at Safeguard Properties from September 2012 to June 2015, where responsibilities included vendor operations review and market analysis of bank-owned properties. Prior experience at the Bank of America Field Services Division involved management support and analysis of code enforcement activities for foreclosed properties in California. Jacobson's career began with the City of Escondido, where duties included investigating code violations and conducting health and safety inspections from March 2000 to March 2010. Stephen Jacobson holds a Master’s Degree and a Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration from San Diego State University.
