Emba Cassiopeia Guthrie

Cassiopeia Guthrie is an experienced educator and consultant currently serving as a Distinguished Teacher in Residence at California State University San Marcos, where instruction focuses on pedagogy and methodology for various education programs. Previously, Cassiopeia held a role in the Escondido Union High School District as a District TOSA, managing curriculum projects and professional development, and has extensive experience in communication and design consulting across multiple educational and organizational settings. Additionally, professional writing and editing work includes contributions to publications and leadership roles within the San Diego Theatre Critics Circle. Education credentials encompass a Doctor of Education in Educational Leadership from UC San Diego, an Executive MBA, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from San Diego State University.
