Tonya Vandyke

Tonya VanDyke is an experienced Special Education Teacher currently employed at Escondido Union School District since July 2016. Additionally, VanDyke has served as a Long Term Substitute Special Education Teacher at West Oakview Elementary and has completed a student teaching internship at Amberly Elementary School, focusing on K-4 resource room education. Prior to these roles, VanDyke worked as a Side Kick at Benjamin's Hope, providing care for residents with disabilities, and held positions in direct care and retail, including a Direct Care Worker at Homelife Inc. and a Sales Associate at Urban Cottage. VanDyke holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Special Education and Teaching from Western Michigan University, earned in 2016.
