Javier Tafur

Javier Tafur serves as the Director General of ESCP España and Dean of the Madrid Campus at ESCP Business School, the world's first business school, where responsibilities include leading the institution's strategic direction and delivering executive education programs. With extensive academic experience, Javier Tafur has held positions as a professor and affiliate professor across several prestigious universities, including Edith Cowan University and Curtin University, and has contributed to multiple degree programs and corporate education initiatives. Prior to academia, Javier Tafur held various leadership roles in consulting and project management, notably as Country Managing Director & CEO of Detecon España and as Managing Consultant at T-Systems Iberia. Education credentials include a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, an MBA from IE Business School, and professional development at Harvard University.
