ESD Global Inc. (Empowerment Self Defense)

ESD Global is dedicated to making Empowerment Self-Defense (ESD) training accessible globally through training ESD trainers to teach in their communities, supporting research and programs that increase public awareness of the profound benefits of ESD training, and engaging stakeholders to increase access to ESD training. Our founder, Yehudit (Yudit) Zicklin-Sidikman, leads a dedicated group of ESD practitioners who envision a world where all people have the Empowerment Self-Defense skills to protect themselves and others. ESD Global's flagship instructor training program takes place in August in Huguenot, New York in partnership with the International Judo Camp of the YMCA of Greater New York. International instructor trainings, as well as trainings around the US happen throughout the year with partner organizations and are added to the website as they are confirmed. Please contact us if your organization would like to sponsor an ESD Instructor training in your community.
