Stephen Griffiths-James

Stephen Griffiths-James has extensive experience in finance and accounting roles. Stephen is currently serving as the Chief Financial Officer at ESENTIA Energy Systems. Prior to this, they worked as the Interim Finance Director - Integration and M&A Project at SBTech. Stephen also served as the Interim Chief Financial Officer - Latin America at Quanta Services, Inc., where they resolved complex accounting issues and implemented new internal controls. Stephen has also worked as the Interim Regional CFO - Director of Finance US & Latin America at ISP, Regional CFO | VP Finance - Latin America & The Caribbean at Stericycle, and Finance Director | Regional Controller for Latin America at Tyco. Stephen also had roles at Seaboard Corporation, William Grant & Sons, and D&M, where they held positions such as Interim Finance Director, Financial Controller & Head of Finance, and CFO. Throughout their career, Stephen has demonstrated strong leadership skills, restructuring finance and accounting functions, and achieving significant financial improvements.

Stephen Griffiths-James has a Master's in Accounting & Finance and is a Chartered Accountant from ICAEW (Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales). Stephen also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Computer Science and Mathematics from the University of Bristol. Additionally, they studied in the Faculty of Engineering at Imperial College London. Stephen has pursued language studies as well, obtaining certifications in Spanish as a Foreign Language from Instituto Cervantes London and Universidad Central del Ecuador, and in Portuguese as a Foreign Language from the Embassy of Brazil in London. Stephen also holds additional certifications as a Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt from the Management and Strategy Institute.
