John Mellor

John Mellor has an extensive work history that spans over three decades. John'smost recent position was as a Director at SGCA, where they began in March 2023. Prior to that, they retired and took on the role of Assistant Fund Manager at Retired Life in June 2019.

Before their retirement, John worked at eSentire Inc. as a Build and Release Developer starting in October 2014. John also worked at BlackBerry as a Software Installation Developer from May 2014 to September 2014, where they played a significant role in designing and implementing Windows installers.

From 2013 to 2014, John worked as a Build and Release Engineer at UXP Systems Inc. During their time there, they managed and maintained builds, build tools, and various software and hardware components related to the build process. John also implemented product versioning and automation efforts to improve build reliability and repeatability.

Prior to that, John served as a System Administrator and customer support representative at Karos Health Inc. from 2012 to 2013.

John'searlier work experience includes being a Developer at Agfa HealthCare Inc. from 2002 to 2011, a Buildmaster at i2 from 1998 to 2002, a Senior Systems Analyst at Antares Alliance Group from 1993 to 1998, and a Quality Assurance Manager at MKS from 1991 to 1993.

John Mellor attended the University of Waterloo from 1972 to 1974, where they studied Electrical Engineering. Following this, they enrolled at Western University from 1975 to 1978, focusing on Applied Science with a concentration in Computer Science.
