Kevin Niergarth

Kevin Niergarth, SSCP, has a diverse work experience in the field of cybersecurity. Kevin is currently working as a Cyber Security Operations Center Analyst II at eSentire since February 2021. Prior to this, they worked at BlackBerry for over 10 years, holding multiple roles. From December 2017 to January 2021, they served as a Cyber Security Operations Center Analyst. From February 2012 to December 2017, they worked as a Global IT- BB Operations Data Center Management Change Coordinator. Kevin started their career at BlackBerry as an Information Technology Service Desk Representative from October 2010 to February 2012. Before joining BlackBerry, Kevin worked as an Infrastructure Services and Support professional at triOS College from March 2009 to March 2010. Kevin also briefly served as an I.T Specialist at Toyota Boshoku Canada, Inc in 2010. With their extensive experience in cybersecurity and IT support, Kevin has developed a strong skill set in managing and analyzing security operations.

Kevin obtained a degree in Network Specialist multiple operating systems from the aforementioned institution. In addition to their education, Kevin also holds the certification of Systems Security Certified Practitioner (SSCP), which was awarded by (ISC)².
