Lisa Da Silva (Carswell) began their work experience at Deloitte Canada in 2007 as a Human Resources Assistant. Lisa then became a Human Capital Business Analyst/Consultant, working in that role from December 2007 until April 2009. In April 2009, they joined BlackBerry as a Human Resources Coordinator, before transitioning to become an HR Business Partner from May 2010 onwards. In February 2014, they took on the role of Workday Implementation Lead - Project at BlackBerry, which lasted until November 2014. Most recently, Lisa has been working at eSentire since September 2018 as an HR Operations employee.

Lisa Da Silva (Carswell) pursued their education at the University of Waterloo from 2002 to 2006. During this time, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree with a specialization in Honours Psychology and HR. Following their undergraduate studies, Lisa attended Contestoga College from 2006 to 2007, where they obtained a Post Graduate Diploma in Human Resources Management.
