Wei Fang

Wei Fang has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. From 2015 onwards, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at eSentire Inc., where they created tools for network traffic analysis and developed a scanning platform to detect previous compromises. Prior to this, from 2010 to 2013, Wei worked as a Research Scientist at Bell Labs China, where they focused on advanced radio technologies and contributed to publications and patents. Wei also supervised interns and showcased projects at Bell Labs Open Days. Earlier in their career, Wei worked as a Research Associate at the University of Waterloo from 2009 to 2010.

Wei Fang holds a BEng degree in Communications from Huazhong University of Science and Technology. Afterwards, Wei Fang pursued further education at the University of Southampton, where they obtained an MSc in RF communication systems. Wei continued their studies at the same institution and earned a PhD in Wireless communications. In addition to their academic achievements, Wei Fang has also obtained various certifications, such as ServiceNow Fundamentals from ServiceNow in March 2020, Docker: Continuous Delivery, Go Essential Training, Learning Docker, Learning Go, and Amazon Web Services Essential Training, all from LinkedIn in 2019.
