Bibek Lama is an experienced data professional with a career spanning over a decade. Currently serving as Chief Data Officer at eSewa Ltd. since March 2014, Bibek provides end-to-end technical solutions related to data and databases, as well as designs high availability and fault-tolerant database systems. Previous roles at eSewa include Principal Database Administrator/Data Engineer and Sr. Database Administrator, focusing on MySQL management, backup, recovery, and replication. Prior to eSewa, Bibek held the position of Data Engineer at OpenI, where responsibilities included the design and deployment of ETL jobs and OLAP cubes. Bibek's career began as a Trainee (Database) at COTIVITI NEPAL, analyzing healthcare data and developing SQL skills. Bibek holds a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology from the National College of Computer Studies, completed in 2010.
