Christoph Klein

Christoph Klein is the Founder and Managing Partner at ESG Portfolio Management, an asset management firm focused on sustainable investment. Christoph has also served as an Instructor for ESG seminars at Moody's Analytics and as a Member at Top Tier Impact. Prior to these roles, they were a Partner at nord IX AG and a Managing Director at Deutsche Asset Management. Christoph has extensive experience in credit portfolio management, asset allocation, risk management, and ESG integration. Klein began their career as an Analyst at Deutsche Bank and later became a Vice President in credit portfolio management. Christoph has received several awards for their work in sustainable investment, including the Deutsche Excellence Prize.

Christoph Klein began their education journey at Universität Trier from 1993 to 1998, where they obtained a Diplomkaufmann degree in BWL, finance, and financial macroeconomics. During their time there, they also attended Loughborough University from 1995 to 1996 on an Erasmus scholarship, studying finance, economics, and econometrics. In 2000, Christoph briefly became a visiting scholar at NYU Stern School of Business, focusing on finance. Additionally, they have obtained certifications such as the CFA Institute PL Program 15-Year Milestone Badge and holds designations of CFA, CEFA, and CSIP from CFA Institute and DVFA.
