Lawrence P. Howorth

Lawrence P. Howorth has an extensive work experience spanning over 40 years. Lawrence P. began their career in 1979 as the Canadian General Manager/Chief Financial Officer for Schlumberger (Smith International Canada, Inc). In 1982, they were promoted to International Corporate Controller for SLB (Schlumberger) (Smith International, Inc). In 1987, they became the President of Pacific Rim Operations, Director and Chief Financial Officer for Learning Tree International, Inc. In 1995, they co-founded Softbank Interactive Marketing, Inc. and served as the President & Chief Financial Officer. In 1998, they co-founded Event411, Inc., and served as the Chief Operating and Financial Officer. In 2016, they joined eShipGlobal, Inc. as an Advisory Board member. In 2019, they became the Vice President of International Business Development for the Richardson Chamber of Commerce, and the Director of the Mayor's Office of International Business for the City of Richardson Texas. Additionally, they also serve as an Adjunct Professor of Intl Business/Trade - Multicultural Management at Dallas College. In 1994, they founded HOWORTH International, LLC, and currently serves as the President & Founder.

Lawrence P. Howorth received a Bachelor of Commerce (B.Comm.) from the University of Saskatchewan in 1972, with a focus on Accounting, Finance & General Business. In 1977, they obtained their CPA / CA certification from Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada). Lawrence P. is currently a Chartered Professional Accountant, specializing in Finance, Accounting, Taxation, Consulting and Business.
