Adi Sholapurwalla

Adi Sholapurwalla has extensive work experience in the engineering and software industry. From 1990 to 1997, they worked at UES, Inc. as an Engineering Manager, providing pre and post-sales support for casting computer modeling software. During this time, they also conducted training for casting and meshing software tools.

From 1997 to 2003, Adi joined UES Software, Inc. as an Engineering & Sales Manager. Adi managed the engineering and sales team in the casting and forging business unit, and assisted with business development activities. Adi also prepared and delivered technical pre-sales presentations to potential customers.

In 2003, Adi started working at ESI North America as the Director of Engineering. In this role, they were responsible for the technical, administrative, and strategic direction of the Engineering Department. Adi provided leadership and guidance to the North American engineering team and offered support on ESI products.

From 2011 to 2015, Adi served as the Director of Engineering & Business Development at ESI North America. Adi focused on enhancing ESI software products and engineering services and played a pivotal role in growing and diversifying the business in the Virtual Manufacturing space. Adi successfully increased revenue by developing a comprehensive business plan and introducing strategic thinking.

In 2015, Adi became the Chief Operating Officer at ESI North America. Adi was responsible for the strategic planning and direction of North American Operations, overseeing day-to-day operations, including Sales & Marketing, Engineering Services, and Business Development. Adi coordinated and managed all business operations to achieve corporate goals.

Most recently, Adi took on the position of Head of Sales, Americas at ESI Group starting in 2022. Further information about their role in this position is not available.

Adi Sholapurwalla obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from VJTI, University of Mumbai in 1988. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Ohio University, which they completed in 1990. Additionally, they received a certification in Project Management in 2008.
