Patrick de Luca

Patrick de Luca has extensive work experience at ESI Group. Patrick started as an Application Engineer in 1991 and then worked as a Software Developer from 1993 to 1996. Patrick later became a Project Manager, leading various development projects in stamping simulation and launching business activities in composite forming simulation. From 2000 to 2013, they held the role of Product Manager, and then became the Manager of the Composites Solution Center of Excellence until 2020. Currently, they are the Strategic European Partnerships - Composite Materials - Scientific Director at ESI Group.

Patrick de Luca completed their education in the field of mathematics and applied mechanics. Patrick earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Université de Bordeaux in Mathematics, followed by a Master of Science degree in Applied Mathematics from the same institution. Patrick then pursued a Ph.D. in Applied Mathematics at Université de Bordeaux. Finally, they undertook a post-doctoral fellowship at Stanford University, specializing in Applied Mechanics.
