Dimitri Laplante

Dimitri Laplante has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Dimitri started their career as a Ski Instructor at Hôtel Le Chantecler in 1993. Dimitri then served as a Client Services representative at IGA St-Raphael from 1994 to 1997. In 1998, they worked as a Farm Worker at Les jardins Barry and as an Assembly Worker at Canlyte in 1999.

Laplante transitioned into a corporate career in 2000, joining Loblaw Companies Limited as a Purchasing Agent & Business Analyst. In this role, they managed inventory, communicated with merchandisers and procurement departments, and analyzed the company's distribution network and information system. Dimitri worked at Loblaw Companies Limited until 2003.

From 2002 to 2003, Laplante served as a Chercheur at CIRRELT, before joining TELUS as a Business Analyst from 2003 to 2007. In this role, they were responsible for process design, business requirements gathering, and marketing tasks. Dimitri gained experience in CRM and received a reference from Alain Brousseau, the Director of the CRM practice.

Following TELUS, Laplante worked as a Business Analyst at Fujitsu from 2007 to 2009 and then moved to TechnoConseil, where they held the position of Chargé de compte from 2009 to 2018.

Most recently, Laplante joined ESI Technologies in 2018. Dimitri initially served as an IT Business Analyst and later took on the role of Director of Governance and Business Practice.

Dimitri Laplante has a diverse education history in the field of IT and business. In 1994, they obtained a DEC in Sciences from Collège André-Grasset. Dimitri then pursued a B.Sc.A degree in Agricultural Economics/Marketing from Université Laval between 1997 and 2001. Following this, Dimitri completed an MBA in e-business from Université Laval from 2001 to 2003.

In terms of IT certifications, Dimitri earned the ITIL Foundation v3 certification from Technoconseil in November 2009. Dimitri also attended Siebel University and became a certified Siebel 7.7 Certified Business Analyst in February 2006.

Dimitri went on to achieve several ITIL certifications. Dimitri completed the ITIL Intermediate Examination OSA from ITpreneurs in 2012 and the ITIL Intermediate Examination RCV from CRIM Campus TC in 2013. In 2014, they obtained the ITIL INTD CAP-PPO (2011) certification, specializing in the ITIL Intermediate Examination in Planning, from CRIM Campus TC. Additionally, they hold ITIL v3 Intermediate PPO, RCV, and OSA certifications from various institutions.

Moving to more recent certifications, Dimitri acquired the ITIL 4 Foundation certification from PeopleCert in September 2020. In March 2022, they obtained the ITIL4 Direct Plan & Improve certification from the same institution. Finally, they acquired the PSM 1 certification from Scrum.org in September 2018.
