Edwin Mabelane

Edwin Mabelane is an experienced professional in the energy sector, currently serving as the Senior General Manager of Outage Management at Eskom since 2011. Mabelane's career at Eskom began in 2003 as a Portfolio Manager focused on production management at Lethabo and Hendrina Power Stations, following a role as Power Station Manager at Hendrina Power Station from 2001 to 2003. Prior to joining Eskom, Mabelane worked as a Maintenance Engineer at Unilever from 1989 to 1994. Mabelane holds an MBA from the University of KwaZulu-Natal (2007 - 2009) and a BSc in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution (1983 - 1986).
