Mokgadi Mthimunye

Mokgadi Mthimunye possesses extensive experience in security management and legal practices, currently serving as the Head of Eskom National Security Control Centre and previously as the Mpumalanga Security Operations Manager at Eskom Holdings SOC Ltd since September 2010. Mthimunye has held significant roles at the National Prosecuting Authority as a Deputy Director and at the Department of Foreign Affairs as an Assistant Director - Vetting Investigator. Mthimunye started a career as a Social Worker at the Department of Social Development before advancing into leadership positions. Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Laws - LLB from the University of South Africa, a National Diploma in Security Management, a Master's in Social Science in Occupational Social Work from the University of Pretoria, and a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from the University of Durban Westville. Mthimunye is currently pursuing further studies in law at the University of South Africa.
