Cristian Duca

Cristian Duca has a diverse work experience that spans across various industries. Cristian is currently working as the Director of Creator Partnerships at ESL FACEIT Group [EFG] since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at FACEIT Ltd from 2016 to 2022, where they held various roles including Senior Partnerships Manager and Partnerships Manager. Cristian was responsible for competition research, partner content management, account management, and sales & business development coordination. Cristian also managed partnership relations with top-level companies such as VISA, GazpromBank, Red Bull, NHL, and Valve.

Before joining FACEIT Ltd, Cristian worked as a Sports Director at Epic Esports Events from 2016 to 2017. Cristian was involved in organizing and managing esports events in the CIS Region. Additionally, they founded XPC Gaming, the first official esports organization in Romania, where they served as the Founder from 2014 to 2016. During this time, XPC Gaming won numerous championships and became national champions for multiple game titles.

Cristian gained early work experience as an intern at Margarit, Florov & Partners, a top law firm in Romania, and at the Refugees Department under the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Moldova. These experiences provided him with insights into the legal field and the importance of teamwork. Cristian also interned at the Moldavian Helsinki Committee, where they assisted with case research, contract analysis, and translation tasks.

Cristian Duca completed their A Levels in Social Sciences at Oxford Activelearning College in 2013. Cristian then pursued a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree at City, University of London from 2013 to 2015. From 2015 to 2017, Cristian continued their legal education at London Metropolitan University, earning a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) degree with a focus on Law. Currently, they are enrolled at King's College London and is expected to graduate in 2022 with a degree in International Affairs.
