Giuseppe Balistreri

Giuseppe Balistreri, Ph.D., is an experienced engineering professional currently serving as an Engineering Manager at ESL FACEIT Group since November 2022, overseeing engineering for Subscriptions and Growth teams in a leading esports ecosystem. Previously, Giuseppe held the position of Sr. Engineering Manager at Vulog from June 2018 to November 2022, supervising multiple teams and contributing to AI-enabled analytics for shared mobility services. Giuseppe's academic background includes a Ph.D. in Robotics from Università degli Studi di Palermo and extensive research in human-robot interaction, having worked as a researcher at Osaka University under the supervision of Professor Hiroshi Ishiguro. Giuseppe has taught graduate-level courses and collaborated with various academic institutions and industry partners across Europe and Asia.
