Carla Vazquez

Carla Vazquez has a diverse range of work experience. Carla began their career in 1996 as a Branch Manager at Bank of America, where they managed branch staff and achieved compliance and sales goals. Carla transitioned to SUNY Brockport in 2009, where they worked as an Advanced Certified Business Advisor for the NYS Small Business Development Center, providing counseling and resources for small businesses. In 2010, Carla joined Bryant & Stratton College as an Adjunct Faculty member, teaching various courses in the Liberal Arts Department. Carla is currently working at ESL Federal Credit Union as a Business Banking Relationship Manager.

Carla Vazquez has a Master's degree in Communication from SUNY Brockport, which they obtained from 1996 to 1998. Prior to that, they earned a Bachelor's degree in Management (organizational, marketing, and human resources) from SUNY Empire State College, completing their studies from 1990 to 1994.

In addition to their formal education, Carla Vazquez has obtained several certifications. Carla obtained the "Introduction to Large Language Models" certification from the United Latino Students Association in August 2023, as well as the "Introduction to Generative AI" certification from the same institution in July 2023. In May 2020, they obtained a Nonprofit Management Graduate Level Certification from SUNY The College at Brockport.

Carla Vazquez also holds certifications from the State University of New York. Carla became an Advanced Certified Business Advisor from the New York Small Business Development Center in December 2015 and a Small Business Development Center NYS Certified Business Advisor in April 2010. Additionally, they obtained an NYS Insurance License from the State of New York in January 1998.

Lastly, Carla Vazquez obtained a Monroe County Notary Public certification from the State of New York in April 1996.
