Celeste A. Kier

EVP & Director, Marketing & Customer Experience at ESL Federal Credit Union

Since beginning her career at ESL in 1988, Celeste has steadily taken on positions of increasing responsibility and served the organization in various leadership positions. She was promoted to Senior Vice President in 2017 and Executive Vice President in 2022. She served as Marketing Director from 2006 through 2012, where she was responsible for advertising, customer communications, research, product management, member focus, and public relations. She was appointed to her current role of Customer Experience Director in June 2012, a role in which she ensures that all aspects of the organization’s operations deliver a consistently superior customer experience. She is also responsible for implementing and managing ESL’s social media strategy.

A civic-minded member of various community organizations, Celeste serves on the board of the George Eastman Museum, United Way Women's Leadership Council Advisory Board, and Writers and Books. She also served as past board member of Hope Hall and the SUNY Geneseo School of Business Advisory Council. A native of Pennsylvania, Celeste earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in English from the University of Rochester and her MBA from the William E. Simon School.
