Johnny Thomasson

Johnny Thomasson has a solid work experience in the maritime industry. Johnny started their career as an Ordinary Seamen at Langh Companies in 2012 and then worked their way up to become a Chief Officer. Johnny also worked as a 2nd Officer at Langh Companies. In 2020, they joined ESL Shipping Ltd as a Chief Officer on M/S ALPPILA, M/S Kallio, and M/S Viikki. Johnny also worked as an Officer Cadet at Finnlines and a Deckhand at He-Wi Oy.

Johnny Thomasson's education history is as follows:

1. From 2021 to 2023, Johnny Thomasson pursued a Master's degree in Maritime Management from Xamk - South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences.

2. Between 2011 and 2016, Johnny Thomasson obtained a Bachelor's degree in Marine Technology and a Master Mariner degree from Xamk - South-Eastern Finland University of Applied Sciences.

3. In 2009 and 2010, Johnny Thomasson attended the Finnish Defence Forces and earned the rank of Sub Lieutenant. Johnny studied Coastal Brigade during this time.

4. From 2008 to 2010, Johnny Thomasson pursued a Bachelor's degree in Physics (120/180 p) from the University of Helsinki.

5. Between 2005 and 2008, Johnny Thomasson attended Myllyharjun lukio and completed their Matriculation Examination. This was their Upper Secondary School education.

In addition to their formal education, Johnny Thomasson has obtained various certifications and training, including a Master STCW II/2 Unlimited certificate, Polar Code training for ships operating in polar waters, a Certificate of Proficiency, a Crane Driving License, and other relevant qualifications in fire fighting, survival techniques, cargo operations, and security officer training.
