Guilain Cals is a Senior Policy Officer in Sustainable Finance at the European Securities and Markets Authority (ESMA) since November 2021. Prior to this, Guilain worked as an economist and coordinator for the "Finance ClimAct" project at ADEME. Guilain has a background in economics, environmental policy, and renewable energy, and has also worked as a consultant providing advice to the energy sector. Guilain holds a Master of International Affairs in Development and Energy Economics from Columbia University and a Master's degree in Environmental Policy and Risks Management from Sciences Po. Guilain has a strong commitment to promoting sustainable development and tackling environmental challenges.
