Jesse Collin

Jesse Collin serves as the Head of Legal and Regulatory Affairs at Pörssisäätiö, focusing on promoting retail investment and developing securities markets in Finland since March 2021. In addition, Jesse holds a part-time position as a University Lecturer at the University of Eastern Finland, teaching company law courses and supervising master's thesis students. Jesse is also a member of the Consultative Working Group at the European Securities and Markets Authority and serves as the Chairperson of the Board for the Finnish Corporate Law Association, contributing to the advancement of corporate law in Finland and internationally. Previous experience includes roles at the Finnish Ministry of Finance, University of Helsinki, Hannes Snellman as an Associate, and others, with a doctorate focused on the nature of shares in modern capital markets. Education includes an LL.D. in Company and Securities Law and an LL.M. from the University of Helsinki.
