Michael Coletta

Michael Coletta is a seasoned professional in the financial technology sector with extensive experience in blockchain technology and digital asset strategy. Currently a member of the Organising Committee of the Post Trade Distributed Ledger Group at the Global Blockchain Business Council and a member of the Consultative Working Group at the European Securities and Markets Authority, Michael also served as Chief Strategy Officer at Fineqia and Head of Group Digital Asset Strategy at the London Stock Exchange Group. Previous roles include lead blockchain architect and developer for the European Commission and Development Lead at CME Group, where Michael contributed to the development of key digital asset offerings and risk management systems. Michael holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from Illinois State University and has furthered studies in Linguistics at Universidad Complutense de Madrid.
