Khoi Tran

Khoi Tran has four years of work experience. Khoi began their career in 2018 as a Working Student at Aptiv, where their main duties included researching, implementation, evaluation, and deployment of various techniques to optimize the performance of deep learning models for a classification task. Khoi also worked on early phase development of an in-house deep learning library. In 2019, they completed an Internship at SICK Deutschland, where they examined methods for reducing training data for training CNNs and identified promising directions and methods that best fit the employer needs. In 2020, they started working as a Data Scientist at eSmart Systems and as a Research Assistant at Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences.

Khoi Tran began their education in 2012, when they attended Frankfurt University of Applied Sciences and Vietnamese-German University, obtaining a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Information Technology from both institutions in 2016. In 2017, they completed a Nanodegree in Self-driving Car from Udacity and a Master of Science in Autonomous Systems from Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences in 2020. Additionally, they have obtained certifications in Natural Language Processing Nanodegree from Udacity in 2020 and Shaping up with Angular.js from Code School.
