J. Michael Sousoulas, CPA has extensive experience in the finance and accounting field. J. Michael began their career in 2009 as an Investment Banking Intern at Wunderlich Securities, where they supported analysts providing investment banking services and compiled detailed research of over 150 investment firms. In 2012, they were an Internal Accountant at The Ward Group, Inc. and an Intern at Rothstein Kass. J. Michael then worked as an Accounting Intern at Park Place Dealerships in 2013, followed by a role as an Associate - Alternative Investments Audit at Rothstein Kass. From 2014 to 2018, they worked at KPMG as an Audit Senior Associate in both the Healthcare/Healthcare Manufacturing and Alternative Investments divisions. Most recently, they have been the Chief Financial Officer at Employee Stock Option Fund (ESO Fund) since 2020. Additionally, they have published research on valuation issues related to the oil and gas industry and contributed to Mercer Capital’s Energy Valuation Insights blog.

J. Michael Sousoulas, CPA completed their Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Southern Methodist University - Cox School of Business from 2008 to 2012. J. Michael then undertook post-graduate studies in Accounting at The University of Texas at Dallas from 2012 to 2013. J. Michael also passed Level 1 of the CFA Exams.
