Scott Chou

Scott Chou has worked in a variety of roles since 1990. Scott began their career as an Engineer at Poqet Computer in 1990. In 1992, they moved to IBM Storage Systems Division as a Staff Engineer, where they were responsible for designing a memory controller ASIC in an enterprise storage system, as well as designing test fixtures for manufacturing support. In 1995, they became an Engineering Manager at Integrated Computing Engines. From 1997 to 1999, they were a Kauffman Fellow at CID Equity Partners and Onset Ventures. In 2000, they became a General Partner at Gabriel Venture Partners, and in 2001 they took on the role of Director at NextG Networks. In 2006, they became a Director at LVL7 Systems. Since 2012, they have been an Advisor at Michigan eLab Ventures and Co-Founder and Managing Partner at Employee Stock Option Fund, where they provide non-recourse cash advances to cover the expenses associated with exercising stock options.

Scott Chou holds a Master of Science degree from Harvard University, a Master of Science in Engineering from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Caltech. Scott also graduated from Norman High School.
