Stephen Thompson

Stephen Thompson has extensive experience in the technology industry, with a focus on business analysis, product ownership, and software development. Stephen is currently working as a Business Analyst at ESO since March 2020. Before that, they served as a Product Owner (Agency Solutions) at Allstate from September 2018 to March 2020. Prior to Allstate, Stephen worked at Liberty Information Technology as a Product Owner from March 2018 to October 2018, and as a Senior Business Analyst from August 2014 to February 2018.

Stephen's earlier experience includes working at Allstate as a Business Analyst from August 2007 to July 2014, where they were responsible for eliciting and documenting project business and functional requirements. Stephen also spent significant time engaging with customers onsite and worked as part of a cross-location team. Before joining Allstate, Stephen worked as a Software Developer at Allstate from February 2003 to August 2007, at AMT Sybex from September 2002 to February 2003, at Kainos from August 2001 to August 2002, and at BT from June 1999 to August 2000.

Stephen Thompson completed their undergraduate education from 1997 to 2001 at Ulster University, where they earned a BSc (Hons) 1st Class degree in Computer Science. Additionally, Stephen attained the ISTQB-BCS Certified Tester (Foundation Level) certification from ISTQB - International Software Testing Qualifications Board.
