Marco Barbosa has a diverse work experience. In 2021, they began working as an Advisor for Talent Protocol. In 2020, they became the Co-founder & CEO of impactMarket. From 2017 to 2021, they were a Shareholder of Sustainable Accelerator. From 2016 to 2021, they were a Forbes 30 under 30 for Europe - Social Entrepreneurs. From 2013 to 2021, they were the Co-founder & ex-CEO of eSolidar, a platform connecting brands, charitable causes, and people who want to get involved with great social initiatives. Finally, from 2006 to 2021, they were a Microsoft Student Partner, a program developed to build a Microsoft community in campus and cultivate technopreneurs.

Marco Barbosa completed a Pre-accelerator program in Blockchain from Draper University in 2020. In 2013-2014, they attended Massachusetts Institute of Technology and completed a course in Entrepreneurial Teams and Entrepreneurial Studies. Marco also holds a Master's degree in Computer Science from Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (2008-2010) and a Master's degree in Information Technology from Brno University of Technology (2008-2009). Their Bachelor's degree is in Computer Engineering from Universidade de Trás-os-Montes e Alto Douro (2005-2008).
