Frank J.m.f. Dor

Frank J.M.F. Dor, MD PhD FEBS(Hon) FRCS, currently serves as a Consultant Transplant Surgeon at Erasmus MC since July 2024. Frank is actively involved in the European Society for Organ Transplantation (ESOT) as Treasurer and Executive Board member since December 2020, while also chairing the #ESOTSocialAmbassador programme. Additional leadership roles include President of the Thematic Federation "Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity" at the Union Européenne des Médecins Spécialistes (UEMS) and Editor In Chief at European Surgical Research. Frank holds multiple editorial positions, including Associate Editor for the World Journal of Transplantation and Transplantation, as well as Academic Editor for PLoS ONE. Frank's academic achievements include a PhD-cum laude in Transplantation from Erasmus University Rotterdam and advanced research training at Harvard Medical School.
