Karen Buckner

Karen Buckner serves as the CEO of Brightmont Academy since May 2015, providing personalized education solutions for 6th to 12th grade students. With extensive experience in various leadership roles, Buckner is also a Partner at MK Capital and has held board director positions at multiple organizations, including Apex Learning and eSpark Learning. Previous roles include Vice President of Operations at I-Works, Inc. and Analyst at First Analysis. Buckner holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Michigan.
