Mary Gurley has a diverse range of work experience, starting in 2008 as a Special Education Teacher at McPherson School. Mary later joined Nettelhorst Elementary School in the same role, where they developed an iPad curriculum and received grants for their classroom. Mary also participated in conferences and collaborated with colleagues to create inclusive experiences for all students.
In 2012, Mary transitioned to eSpark Learning, where they held various roles. As a Senior Learning Design Architect, they worked on curriculum development and instructional design. Later, they became the Curriculum Development & Instructional Design Lead, and eventually the Director of Curriculum.
Mary Gurley has a strong education background in the field of education and teaching. Mary obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Psychology and Spanish from the College of the Holy Cross, where they studied from 1997 to 2001. Mary then pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in Special Education and Teaching at Loyola University Chicago, attending from 2005 to 2007. Continuing their education, Mary earned an Education Specialist (Ed.S) degree in Educational Leadership and Administration, General from National Louis University, completing their studies in 2012.
In addition to their academic achievements, Mary Gurley also holds two certifications relevant to their field.
