Boris Tiomkin

Mr. Tiomkin brings successful entrepreneurial and leadership experience to eSpear. He has served as the Executive Chairman for ConceptONE, LLC, a compliance and regulatory reporting technology company, where he was primarily responsible for leading ConceptONE’s strategic planning and business development efforts. He worked with the firm’s management team to accelerate the company’s expansion into the Americas and Europe, and to extend its reach to Asia. He also successfully led the company to its sale to Axioma.

Mr. Tiomkin also gained extensive experience in AML and KYC compliance, having founded and served as the Chairman and CEO of AIS Fund Administration, a leading fund administrator that provided back office and middle office services worldwide. Starting in 2002, Mr. Tiomkin formulated the vision for AIS and executed a robust business plan. Under his leadership, AIS became a group of companies spanning the US, UK and Cayman Islands, employing 175 people, and winning top honors, including the prestigious Fund Administration Awards from the Global Custodian Magazine, NJ Biz Magazine and HFM after only 11 years. AIS was also recognized for three consecutive years as one of the fastest growing companies in New Jersey by focusing on daily service and a fixed income asset class. The company excelled in this complex arena and became known for its talent and knowledge of the hedge fund industry, as well as its pragmatic and proactive approach, state-of-the-art technology, and outstanding employees and responsiveness. AIS was sold to US Bancorp at the end of 2012.
