Marc Lupon has a diverse work experience in various technology-related roles. Marc started their career in 2008 as a PhD candidate and lecturer at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya. In 2011, they joined Intel Corporation as a Computer Architect - Research Scientist, where they focused on developing efficient architectures for next-generation processors. Marc then worked at Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya as a Senior Engineer, where they developed a novel technology based on variability-reactive clocks. Marc also took on the role of R&D Firmware Engineer at HP, where their work involved developing embedded software for Large Format Production printers. Most recently, they worked at Esperanto Technologies, Inc as a Software Manager and Tech Lead, and then a Software Engineer, where they designed and implemented the ML stack and developed inference servers for a massively-parallel AI accelerator. Throughout their career, Marc has demonstrated expertise in areas such as machine learning, hardware optimization, firmware development, and ASIC design.

Marc Lupon has a strong educational background in computer architecture. Marc completed their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering at the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya from 2003 to 2008. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Computer Architecture, Networks, and Systems at the same university from 2007 to 2008. Marc then went on to earn their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Computer Architecture from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya, which they completed from 2008 to 2011.

In addition to their formal education, Marc has also obtained certifications to further enhance their knowledge and skills. Marc received a certification in Technology Assets Management from the Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya in January 2015. Additionally, they obtained a certification in Comprehensive Digital IC Implementation & Signoff from Europractice in June 2014.
