Dan Diaz, MS, OTR/L serves as the Area Director at Cortica since January 2022, overseeing operations in the Illinois and Texas markets for an organization specializing in pediatric neurodevelopmental therapies. Diaz collaborates with pediatricians and neurologists to develop programs that advance care for clients with Autism Spectrum Disorders. Prior experience includes management roles at AMITA Health, where responsibilities encompassed program development and supervising a multidisciplinary team in various rehabilitation settings, and at HealthPRO Heritage, where oversight of a rehabilitation team and program management across multiple communities was essential. Previous positions also include occupational therapy roles at Rush Oak Park Hospital and The Comprehensive Group, as well as military service as a Sergeant of Marines. Diaz holds an M.S. in Occupational Therapy and is currently pursuing an MBA in Business Management at the University of Illinois Chicago.
