Esperanza Health Centers
Jessica Escutia, LCSW, currently serves as the Lead Care Manager at Esperanza Health Centers, a position held since June 2022, after previously functioning as a Care Manager in the same organization. Prior experience includes a role as a School Social Work Intern at the University of Chicago Charter School and an internship with Youth Guidance focused on supporting young women at Eric Solorio Academy High School. Jessica Escutia has also held positions with Family Service of Champaign County, the Illinois Department of Human Services, and contributed as a research assistant and student aging researcher at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Academic credentials include a Master of Arts in Clinical Social Work from the University of Chicago Crown Family School and a Bachelor of Science in Interdisciplinary Health Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, with a concentration in Health Diversity.

Esperanza Health Centers is a Federally Qualified Health Center that operates four primary care clinics on Chicago’s Southwest Side. Through the provision of a full range of bilingual, culturally appropriate primary and specialty care, behavioral health, and wellness services, we’re committed to improving health equity and reducing barriers to care for the residents of the medically underserved, primarily Latino communities we serve. Since 2004, we’ve delivered care to over 25,000 patients each year regardless of immigration status, insurance status, or ability to pay.
