Elvira Pellitteri, MSW, LCSW, currently serves as a Behavioral Health Counselor at Esperanza Health Centers, where clinical mental health services are provided primarily to low-income and undocumented Latino patients since April 2015. Previously, Elvira worked as a Therapist in the Women's Program at Healthcare Alternative Systems, Inc., addressing peri-partum depression and anxiety among low-income Latina and other women from February 2013 to April 2015. Prior experience includes the role of Mental Health Clinician at Heartland Alliance, focusing on unaccompanied immigrant minors from July 2012 to February 2013, and teaching Spanish and Latin to high school students at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools for over 25 years. Elvira holds a Master of Social Work degree from Loyola University Chicago and a Master's degree in Classics from Yale University.
