Yessenia Cornejo

Yessenia Cornejo is a seasoned behavioral health professional with extensive experience in providing therapeutic services across various settings. Currently serving as a Behavioral Health Counselor at Esperanza Health Centers since June 2019, Yessenia has previously worked as a Family Therapist at MaineStay Youth and Family Services, where responsibilities included conducting therapy and supervising psychology interns. With a background that encompasses roles as an Outpatient Therapist at Streawood Behavioral Health and a Child & Adolescent Therapist at Metropolitan Family Services, Yessenia specializes in bilingual therapy for both English and Spanish-speaking clients. Yessenia's earlier positions included crisis intervention and therapy roles at organizations such as Pillars Community Health and Meier Clinics.
