Angel D. Ramirez M.

Angel D. Ramirez M., Ph.D., serves as Dean of Research and a Full Professor at ESPOL since October 2012, having held various leadership roles within the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Production Sciences. Prior to this, Angel worked as a Sustainability Expert at the National Institute of Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy for a brief period in late 2012, and as a Post Graduate Researcher at Harper Adams University College from January 2009 to May 2012, focusing on greenhouse gas emissions associated with rendered products. Angel's early experience includes roles as a Junior Researcher at Escuela Superior Politecnica del Litoral and as an Engineer at Efficacitas Consultancy Ltd. Educational qualifications include a Ph.D. and a Postgraduate Certificate from Harper Adams University, an MSc from Chalmers University of Technology, and a degree in Mechanical Engineering from Escuela Superior Politécnica del Litoral.
