Brett Shumway

Brett Shumway has a diverse range of work experience in various roles and industries. Brett most recently worked at Esports Engine as the Director of Content starting in October 2019. Prior to that, they were the Director of Content at Echo Fox from July 2018 to September 2019, where they led a creative team and oversaw content creation, brand management, and collaborations with sponsors.

Before joining Echo Fox, Shumway worked at Vision Entertainment as a Producer and Director from February 2018 to July 2018, where they managed staff, budgets, and workflows for video content production. Brett also collaborated with clients and developed social media strategies.

Shumway has experience in the television industry as well. Brett worked as a Co-Executive Producer and Showrunner at Ricky Schroder Productions on shows like "My Fighting Season" from October 2015 to August 2016, and "Starting Strong" seasons 2 and 3 from October 2013 to September 2015 and October 2014 to September 2015, respectively. In these roles, they oversaw production, recruitment, and decision-making processes for docu-series featuring potential Army recruits.

Brett also worked as a Post Producer and Post Production Supervisor at Ricky Schroder Productions from April 2013 to August 2013, where they managed technical and creative aspects of post-production. Additionally, they directed commercials for the U.S. Army during this time.

In the past, Shumway gained experience as a Post Production Manager at CNBC on the show "Treasure Detectives" from October 2012 to April 2013. Brett also worked as a Staff Writer for Sports Blog Nation - Mile High Hockey from December 2008 to April 2013, and had a role as a Segment Producer, Post Production Manager, and Assistant Editor on "Extreme Makeover Home Edition" from June 2008 to February 2012.

Brett Shumway completed their General Studies in 2000 at Brigham Young University–Hawaii. Brett then pursued a BA degree in Media Arts - Film from Brigham Young University, which they successfully completed in 2005.
