Paul Kent

Paul Kent has a diverse range of work experience in the esports and technology industries. Paul currently holds the position of Senior Director, UK Operations at Esports Engine, a role they started in March 2021. Prior to this, from 2013 to 2021, Paul served as the Director of Esports and Esports Technology at Gfinity PLC: Esports Solutions. In this role, they were responsible for various technical programs such as designing and building an online tournament platform and planning and building Gfinity Studio and Arena. Before joining Gfinity, Paul founded The WGL in 2009. Additionally, they worked as an Engineer at Creative Labs from 2003 to 2012, where they contributed to projects related to graphics cards, ARM chips, and media codec library development.

Paul Kent attended Abertay University from 2000 to 2003, where they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Applications Development with a focus on Computer Science.
