Paul Kent is currently the VP of Publisher Operations at ESL FACEIT Group, having previously served as a Senior Director of UK Operations at Esports Engine from 2021 to 2025. An original employee of Gfinity PLC, Paul founded Europe's first console-only Esports gaming league, The WGL, which they led from 2009 to 2013. With extensive experience in Esports since 1996, Paul has designed and executed numerous high-profile events, including the F1 Esports Series and various championships for major game titles. Paul holds a BSc in Applications Development in Computer Science from Abertay University, earned between 2000 and 2003.
