Andrés Araujo

Andrés Araujo has extensive work experience in the software engineering field. Andrés'smost recent role was as a Software Engineer at Espressive since November 2020. Prior to that, they worked at unosquare for six years as a Sr Software Engineer. At unosquare, they served as a Software Consultant and developed large single page applications using React and Angular, as well as cross-platform apps using React Native. Andrés also built web backend API servers using NodeJS, MySQL, Mongo, and Redis. Additionally, they made contributions to the Dart community through open-source work. Before joining unosquare, they worked at Grupo SITE as a Senior Software Engineer, and at Transportes Castores de Baja California as a Java Developer. At Castores, they played a key role in developing and migrating the core CRM stack to a more modular and maintainable Spring/REST approach, as well as enhancing the GPS tracking server to handle increased traffic. Andrés also developed tools for data analysis to support business decision-making. At the start of their career, Andrés interned as a Software Developer at PEMEX.

Andrés Araujo completed their education from 2004 to 2010 at ITESI - Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Irapuato. There, they pursued a degree in Systems Engineering with a focus on Computer Software Engineering. In addition to their degree, Andrés obtained a certification as an Oracle Certified Java Programmer from Oracle in March 2012.
