Brent Nelson

Brent Nelson has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. Their most recent position was as a DevOps Engineer at Espressive, starting in December 2018. Prior to that, from 2012 to 2021, they served as a Director on the Board of Directors at Stocksy United, a stock photography company. Brent also worked as a Director at Cuesta La Honda Guild, a Common Interest Development, from 2016 to 2019.

In their previous roles, Brent held positions at several well-known companies. Brent was a Manager of Production Engineering at Oath from 2017 to 2018, and a Tech Lead for Production Engineering at Yahoo from 2015 to 2017. Brent also worked as a Site Operations Engineer at Polyvore from 2012 to 2015.

Before that, Brent was a Senior Systems Administrator at Saatchi Online from 2010 to 2011 and the Director of IT and Infrastructure at iStockphoto from 2003 to 2010. Brent started their career as a System Administrator and Developer at Evolvs Media Inc. from 2001 to 2003, and as a Programmer and System Administrator at Webcore Labs from 2000 to 2003.

Brent Nelson attended the University of Calgary from 1996 to 2000, where they completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
