Chengyu Lin has been working in the technology industry since 2018. Chengyu started as a Software Engineer Intern at Google in 2018 and again in 2019. Chengyu then moved to IBM in 2021 as a Research Intern. Currently, they are a Senior Cryptographic Engineer at Espresso Systems, a position they have held since 2022.
Chengyu Lin attended Shanghai Jiao Tong University from 2010 to 2014, where they earned a BS in Computer Science. Chengyu then attended The Chinese University of Hong Kong from 2014 to 2016, where they earned a Master of Philosophy (MPhil) in Computer Science. Chengyu is currently attending Columbia University, where they are pursuing a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Computer Science, which they are expected to complete in 2022.
