Paul Miles has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Paul most recently worked as the Group CFO at ESP Utilities Group Ltd since January 2019. Prior to that, they served as the Group Chief Financial Officer at GVC Group from February 2017 to October 2018. Paul also held the position of Group CFO at Wonga from December 2014 to February 2017, and at Capquest Group Ltd/Arrow Global from April 2013 to November 2014. Before that, Paul worked at PHOENIX Life Group, RSA, AXA SUN LIFE, EY, and James & Uzzell, in various financial and auditing roles.
Paul Miles attended Olchfa Comprehensive School from 1982 to 1989. Paul then enrolled at the University of Plymouth from 1989 to 1992, where they pursued a degree in Accounting & Finance.

ESP Utilities Group
ESP Utilities Group Ltd is licensed to operate gas and electricity networks by the industry regulator Ofgem and has helped thousands across the country to make the connection. We operate the on-site infrastructure for new housing developments, for industrial and commercial premises and for communities not previously connected to the national natural gas network. Currently around 270,000 gas customers are connected to the network through pipelines operated and managed by ES Pipelines. The principal customer groups we serve are: Residential – extending the gas network to existing homes (also known as Infill), as well as adopting infrastructure for New Housing developments. Industrial and Commercial - we look carefully at each proposal to develop innovative solutions to extend the network even where previous attempts have failed.
