ESP Utilities Group Ltd is licensed to operate gas and electricity networks by the industry regulator Ofgem and has helped thousands across the country to make the connection. 

We operate the on-site infrastructure for new housing developments, for industrial and commercial premises and for communities not previously connected to the national natural gas network. Currently around 270,000 gas customers are connected to the network through pipelines operated and managed by ES Pipelines.

The principal customer groups we serve are:

Residential – extending the gas network to existing homes (also known as Infill), as well as adopting infrastructure for New Housing developments. 

Industrial and Commercial - we look carefully at each proposal to develop innovative solutions to extend the network even where previous attempts have failed.

The Pricing Team at ESP Utilities Group is responsible for developing and managing pricing strategies for gas and electricity network services. This includes setting competitive rates for residential infill projects, new housing developments, and industrial and commercial connections. The team ensures pricing is aligned with market conditions, regulatory requirements, and corporate financial goals, while analyzing data to forecast and optimize pricing models to maximize profitability and customer satisfaction.
