Stephan Schaller is the Founder and CEO of esqLABS GmbH since June 2017, specializing in computational solutions for PBPK and QSP, and is dedicated to enhancing Pharma R&D and Precision Medicine through translational modeling and simulation. In June 2024, Stephan founded the Computational Life Sciences Foundation gUG to support open-source software projects in the field. As a cofounder and chair of the Open Systems Pharmacology Management Team since June 2019, Stephan promotes collaborative advancements in modeling and simulation sciences. Additionally, Stephan serves as an Adjunct Faculty member at the University of Florida, lectures on PBPK science, and holds various leadership roles in projects related to pharmacokinetics and systems pharmacology. Previous experiences include positions at Sanofi, Bayer Technology Services, and impactful academic roles at RWTH Aachen University, where a Ph.D. in Computational Engineering Sciences was obtained.
